Decolonising groupwork: Call for papers: Guest Editor, Suryia Nayak

We invite proposals for critically informed papers about groupwork that challenge hierarchies of who and what is at the centre and who and what is left at the margins of groupwork approaches. Submissions may be from anyone practicing decolonial groupwork, and may cover research, practice or policy. We welcome submissions from activists, community groups and accounts of groupwork happening in contexts of oppression.
Abstracts (up to 300 words) should be submitted to Jane McLaughlin ((jm4whitingbirch@aol.co.uk) by 30th September 2026.
