Support for authors and readers: Reminder: 7th Groupwork Student Essay Competition closes on May 6th 2025

Student groupworkers are invited to submit an essay or paper on any aspect of their practice of groupwork. Any student on a first degree or masters program, or those graduating in 2024 or 2025, may submit an essay or paper (maximum 5,000 words) for the prize. Full details are available at:

Journal of Practice Teaching and Learning Special Issue: Practice teaching and learning across Ireland

This special issue provides an opportunity for practitioners, educators, and researchers to share theoretical papers, innovative practice and empirical research in practice teaching and learning to develop our understanding of changes and challenges experienced at an individual, community, organisational or international level among social work, nursing and allied health professions working across the island of Ireland.

By 14th May 2022 A 300-word abstract should be submitted covering the title, authors, focus and main points of the article. Abstracts should be sent to Jane McLaughlin, Journal Administrator: jm4whitingbirch@aol.co.uk.
