Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
• The article runs to less than 6,000 words (excluding abstracts, author biographies, references, and tables and figures).
• A summary of less than 150 words, and keywords have been incorporated into the submission
• The main manuscript file has been fully anonymized by the removal of all author names, affiliations, and any identifying information from the text, headers/footers, and file properties.
• All authors have been listed in the contributors section of the submission.
• Full details of all authors have been provided, namely email address, professional title, affiliation, and brief professional biography of less than 75 words for each author.
• The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
• The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements is outlined in the Author Guidelines.
• A 12-point font has been used for the text. All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed at the end of the article, with an indication of their positioning in the text (for example: 'place table 1 about here).
• Any use of artificial intelligence tools (such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, DeepL) in the writing, data analysis, or creation of images, is described in the paper. If no AI has been used, this should be stated.
  
• I understand that, while AI tools may be used in preparing a manuscript, such tools must never be used as a substitute for human critical thinking, expertise and evaluation. AI tools may only be applied with human oversight and control. Authors are ultimately responsible and accountable for the contents of their work.
