Booking opens for online seminar on peer reviewing
2026-05-13
The Journal of Practice Teaching and Learning in Health and Social Work* covers all aspects of practice teaching ('field education') in workplace settings in health and social work. It also considers the policy context, and the changing expectations of service users, Government and the public. Material is practically relevant to what practitioners, managers and educators actually do in health, social work and social care. A main theme is the effectiveness of training and education as preparation for work in these fields.
The Journal will interest anyone aiming for excellence in practice teaching and field education:
- Trainers and educators
- Managers
- Policy makers
- Personnel and staff development specialists.
Booking is now open here for our Zoom seminar on peer reviewing at 4:00pm UK time on 15th June 2026.
Scholarly publishing is a community effort which cannot function without the support of competent peer reviewers. An understanding of the review process is also essential for authors and current and aspiring editorial board members and editors. The seminar will be led by Dr Mark Doel. Places are limited, so early booking is advised.
