Practice Teaching and Learning across Ireland: Advance publication
Vol. 20 No. 2Although we have distinctly different systems of health and social care provision across the island of Ireland, there is, nonetheless, a strong tradition of inter-agency and inter-professional collaboration within health, nursing, allied health, and social work. More recently, the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic and Brexit have directly impacted practice, education, and research. This special issue provides an opportunity for practitioners, educators, and researchers to share theoretical papers, innovative practice and empirical research in practice teaching and learning to develop our understanding of changes and challenges experienced at an individual, community, organisational or international level among social work, nursing and allied health professions working across the island of Ireland.
